Creative Learning Center: A State Certified, Christian Based Preschool – Ages 2 Years Through 5 Years”
The Creative Learning Center strives to provide a Christian preschool experience for all children within the context of an encouraging, supportive and loving setting that fosters curiosity and creativity. Our aim is to prepare young children for future educational experiences through sound academic, spiritual, recreational and social teaching that meets the varied needs of each student. We seek to provide an atmosphere in which each child can grow toward his or her full God-given potential.
As a ministry of the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church, we also seek to fulfill the Bible commandments to tell others about Jesus Christ and to love others as we love ourselves.
Rapid growth occurs in four main areas during the preschool years:
- Sensory-motor
- Language
- Cognitive and
- Social-personal
The Creative Learning Center seeks to plan activities that will foster learning in all these areas, while encouraging spiritual growth and awareness. We do not want to shelter children from external influences, but to equip each one to make decisions and choices based on a Biblical, God-centered view. The school also encourages parents to be an active participant in their child’s education and development.
The CLC staff wants to exalt Christ by serving Him. Please let us know how we can best serve the Lord by serving you.
- Each age group has a set curriculum and planned daily schedule to follow
- Fall and spring field trips are offered
- All CLC staff members are required to have their criminal background and child abuse clearances
- School is secured at all times
