Growth Groups

Adult Growth Groups

Growth Groups are designed to help us grow in our friendship with Christ by learning and applying God’s word to our lives with other friends.

SWC believes that Growth Groups are extremely helpful to those who want to reach their full potential in loving and serving Christ.

Wednesday evening and Sunday morning groups are provided with childcare for those who need it.

EVERY CHRISTIAN NEEDS A SPIRITUAL FAMILY. We all need a place where we can really know others and be known by others.

We need a family where we are cared for, nurtured, challenged, guided and prayed for; where we can ask questions and share struggles.

Rounding the Bases Seminars

Along with Growth Groups, we offer four seminars throughout the year that are designed to be our core curriculum for all adults and teens.

We want every adult and teen to “round the bases” and reach their potential in Christ.

That’s why we are offering these seminars that are sure to assist everyone, no matter where they are in their spiritual journey, in going deeper with Christ.

• Seminar 101, or 1st Base, is called BELIEVING and focuses on basic beliefs about God, the Bible and Jesus Christ.
• Seminar 201, or 2nd Base, is called BELONGING and focuses on how God uses the church in the lives of believers.
• Seminar 301, or 3rd Base, is called BECOMING and helps those who attend to discover their “shape” for meaningful ministry.
• Seminar 401, or Home Base, is called BEING and focuses on developing people for leadership and mission.

These fun-filled and helpful seminars will be offered on:

• July 15, 2012
• September 16, 2012
• November 18, 2012.
