Rays of Hope for Addiction is hosting their first ever “Overdose Awareness Memorial Drive” on Sunday, August 30th at 6pm. In collaboration with Celebrate Recovery at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church the program will begin in the church parking lot and features music, pinwheel dedication, information and resources, prayer and a short “memorial drive” to remember those who lost their lives to this disease.
The Memorial Drive is open to the public and those interested in participating are encouraged to hang a sign and pictures on their car or write a note on the windows to remember those lives lost. The parking lot will be open at 5:30 PM and washable car window paint will be available. The Memorial Drive will begin after the program & will go down through Stroudsburg Borough and end at the Agency offices on Phillips Street around 7pm.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health will also be on hand for a free parking lot Narcan Distribution & training.
